Heroes Paradise Opens Their Brand New EpicSurf ® Deep-Water Standing Wave TODAY — The First Standing Wave on the East Coast!

BRANDON, FL (June 19, 2026) – The wait is over. Today marks the official opening of EpicSurf® at Heroes Paradise, home to the world’s first-ever EpicSurf standing wave and a groundbreaking new destination for surfing enthusiasts of a wide range of ages and abilities.

Already making waves across the industry, the ES46 installation is the largest standing wave on the East Coast and the second-largest standing wave in the United States, spanning 46 ft of surfable width. The ride is designed to make surfing accessible to the masses. EpicSurf’s rapidly adjustable wave (from 2′-5′) creates the perfect ride for beginners catching their first wave and experienced surfers looking to sharpen their skills.

Guests can book one-hour surf sessions on the wave. With an intimate setting, surfers can have trainers & fellow surfers join in on the excitement, providing instructions and adjustments in real time. In addition, the EpicSurf at Heroes Paradise offers retractable training bars to assist in guests working on their stability and comfortability on the wave. With a walk-out recovery zone, guests do not need to swim to exit the wave, allowing for rapid progression of skills due to maximum waves in a single session. All designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA, this wave was carefully crafted in ADG’s headquarters in Upstate NY and constructed along with a property expansion with a groundbreaking in Nov. 2025 and a timeline of just seven months.
